Broken Camera..

So our camera has been in the shop for a few weeks. Chris accidentally dropped it on Claire's 1st birthday, and the flash broke. We have been using it without the flash, but decided it was time to send it in. Hopefully it will be back next week! I had to steal these pics from family and friends blogs. All is well in the Barrow house. Chris just finished Claire's new room. He did such a great job, he painted it, put up a chair rail, and put all her new furniture together. She sleeps in a queen bed, and looks like a little ant in there because she is so little. If she wakes up in the night she climbs out and marches into our room, no crying involved. Last night she came in saying, "DADDY, DADA, DADDY", I was thinking good call Claire calling for your daddy, so mommy doesn't have to get up! She got a few extra m&m's out of the candy jar today for that! (Chris actually outs her to bed 90% of the time, I am blessed with a good husband and they are blessed with a good daddy).
Here are all the cousins playign at Grammy and Pa's house last weekend. This was Sunday, and Monday Corbin came down with a stomach bug... It was a short lived one, but no fun to say the least. Chris stayed home Tuesday to be on puke patrol!
Claire is loving on June and it looks like Sophie is about to clobber someone with her mr. carrot head. Sonner than later two more little girls will be added to this picture. Our baby girl is still nameless. We are working on it. Corbin calls her Ella. He talks all about Ella in my tummy, he also says he has a baby boy in his tummy names Simon.... So as for now her name is Ella!

Barrow babies...

I went back to work this week... it was hard missing out on those eight hours a day i was with my babies all summer. It did make it easier though that Corbin LOVES school and goes without hesitation, and Claireb loves her babysitter. I look very forward to all the holidays and time off I have being a teacher to spend with my kids.
Claire loves shoes. Well, actually Claire is OBSESSED with shoes. We spend much of our day putting them on and taking them off. She doesn't care if they are too big, too small, boy shoes, girl shoes.. doesn't matter. She is a very girly girl... the funny thing is that I HATE SHOES. I have never been one to go shoe shopping to find the perfect shoes. I like my New Balance's and my Aggie flip flops.. that's about it.
Chris made water balloons for the kids. They had a little water balloon fight and loved it.
Water balloon fight turned into a hose fight.Corbin has learned how to put his finger on the spout and make the water spray. He thinks it is the funniest thing ever.
This is a picture from this morning. Being 3 comes with a lot of meltdowns, fighting with your sister, yelling when you don't get what you want, being demanding, being impatient and being bossy... BUT TODAY Corbin was 100% perfect all day long. He woke up in the best mood and it lasted all day long. Don't get me wrong, he is a very happy kiddo, but usually has a few times a day where he gets corrected about something. Today was totally amazing. he was hugging all over his sister, sharing without being told, used great manners... We were just so very proud of him all day long. He got to make cupcakes today for havign such a wonderful day!
Claire LOVES Corbin. The way she says his name would make your heart melt. She does whatever he does all day long. She is such a wonderful little baby girl. Corbin is such a wonderful big boy. Today they came together to show off just how precious they are. They really do make my heart so happy all day long. Watching your children love each other is such an awesome thing.
What a pretty girl... We are still working on a name for baby girl. We have not really been able to agree on anything yet. We are rearranging the house up a bit, so that all the rooms will be ready for her arrival. Claire is getting new furniture and a big girl bed, Corbs will be in a big bed too. Baby girl will be in the crib that her brother and sister are passing down to her. It is crazy to think that before we know it she will be here.... I can't wait to meet her, but on the other hand we have A LOT to do before she comes. Chris is goign to have painters elbow before this is all said and done from getting all the kids rooms fixed up!

IT'S A ...........

Girl!!!!!!! Corbin and Claire will have a little sister in January! We are all really excited! In the ultrasound baby girl looks great, that is what we are most excited about! I am a little nervous that we will not only have one little diva prissy princess running around here bossing us around... but 2! Corbin will be a very good big brother to his two little sisters! I am really looking forward to bringing our new baby girl into this family, she will be very loved!

the whole family came over tonight for dinner and to watch our ultrasound dvd of sweet baby girl... we had not told them the baby was a girl. we made them wait all day to watch the ultrasound and find out... They were all really excited!
Our little Claireb has been sick this week. She started running a fever Saturday night and it did not break until yesterday. I took her to the urgent care place Sunday, because she was just really sick due to the fever and seemed to be in a lot of pain. Turns out she had an ear infection.... Poor baby girl! Today she finally has turned the corner. No fever all day.... her anitbiotics have finally kicked in!
OUR BIG BOY HAS STARTED PRESCHOOL!!!!! This was a huge week at our house. Corbin started preschool this week. It has been very hard on all of us ( I think the hardest on Chris)... He is going ot school Tues/Wed and Thurs... Chris drops him off in the morning.. The last two mornings Corbin has been really upset when Chris went to leave him. This broke Chris's heart and even left him in tears. The good news is when we call to check on him they say he only cries for a few minutes after Chris leaves and then has fun with all the kids. I pick him up right after his nap! he tells us little things about his school that are so cute. He also says he likes his class ehich makes my heart smile! I know every day it will get easier and easier as he adjusts to his new school! I know he will learn a lot, and make a lot of new friends.... It is really hard though to walk out the door when your little one is screaming and reaching for you.... This was one of the pictures he made on his first day of school..
Here is the happy baby boy! Soon to be the big brother of two little sisters....
I cannot even begin to tell you how very blessed Chris and I feel to have these beautiful babies... I really can't even put into words how much we love our babies.... it is just somehting i will never be able to explain....

Summer is almost over....

I cannot believe that I only have two more weeks of summer... what a bummer. It has gone by really fast. Been very exhausting, but very fun. Corbin starts big boy school next week. he will go on tues, Wed and Thurs. I PRAY that he loves it and does well. He is definitely our co-dependent kiddo. He always likes to be able to see Chris or I. He is a very happy little boy, he just likes to be with his mommy and daddy. Claire on the other hand is our very INDEPENDENT baby. She has NO FEAR, and as long as someone is paying attention to her she is good to go!
Corbin loves to be naked... I know, I know... But once again i pick my battles. When we are at home he is a free soul...
Corbin's very favorite game these days is hide and seek. We play it ALL day long. Whenever anyone comes over they get roped into finding Corbin and Claire too. This is one of his very favorite hiding places.....
The other day I found Claire in her toy box brusing her hair with a barbie brush... pretty precious!
Last week was my Niece June's FIRST birthday! She had a super fun party! She is such a sweet baby girl!
Mom was over cuttin Corbin's hair and said Claire's would look much fuller etc if we trimmed a tiny bit. I want her hair to grow out so I was pretty annoying making sure she only cut a tiny bit. Mom said it shouldn't even count as her first haircut b/c of how little she cut... But she cut it so it counts. It does look really cute, and Claire was a good client!

July 4th... a little late

We tried and tried to get them to both smile in their July 4th outfits.... didn't quite work out. I did the whole song and dance... still not smiling... they still look pretty darn cute though! We spent July 4th at the Barrow's house swimming and having fun!
Last week we made our weekly or sometimes daily Target run. The kids got new coloring books with markers. These markers only color on these coloring books! AWESOME!!! Claire got a princess book and Corbs got a Nemo one... They took their coloring very seriously!
Claireb decided she did a better job if she sat on the table... Whatever works...

This is the first time Claire has ever fallen asleep in her highchair... All summer they have been trying to not nap, and stay awake...Most days they can't make it and they crash.. Some days they do make it and it makes for really early bedtimes! This day Claire made it until dinner.... I turned to throw stuff away, and when i looked back at her she was out!
The kids and I have really had a fun summer. We try to do something fun everyday. Most days we swim... some days we go to pump it up.... it all just depends on what boss man Corby says... I really love being home with them in the summer, but holy smokes they totally tire me out.... Just wait until number three is in the mix. I had an ultrasound last week. I am now thinking boy.... This whole time I would have sworn girl based on how I feel.... After the ultrasound i am not so sure... looks like I might have seen a little pee pee.... The lady going the ultrasound said she was not going to guess yet.... We will find out late August...

*** Today we are celebrating our 5th wedding anniversary! On this day 5 years ago I never in a million years would have thought that 5 years later we would have the two most amazing kids and one on the way! We are two very blessed people!

catching up and big news!

I cannot believe I have gotten so behind on our blog... Oh wait, yes I can. I have been busy with Corbin and Claire enjoying summer break! Corbin and Claire have something they would like to announce... They are going to have a little sister or brother in January! We are all really excited... Well, Corbin and Claire are a little bit clueless about the whole thing, but soon enough they will get it. Here are some pictures to catch you up on the last month. We just got back from a week at the beach, and had a wonderful time! I will try to be better about posting. Try is the key word... I hope all is well with everyone, and we will post baby updates soon....
