Halloween pictures

This weekend we had our annual pumpkin carving/Halloween picture party at Aunt Natalies. I look forward to this every October. The kids always have fun, and the pictures are always soooo adorable.
My three precious kids. I just can't get over how much I love this picture or Captain Rex, My Little Cupcake and Rapunzel.

The last 6 weeks....

Caroline helped celebrate my birthday in true toddler style...
We have been busy since school started. Time has flown by. Corbin loves kindergarten, and has adjusted really well. He does come home SUPER tired though, and catches up with naps on the weekends. Claire loves school too, and is learning a lot of new things. Caroline has gotten SO big.... makes me a little sad. They are the best little people, and definitely keep Chris and I ridiculously busy.
My PRINCESS on her first day of pre-school. Caroline joined in the pic. Claire has become quite a hard kid to dress for school. She is super opinionated on what she wears. She ONLY wants to wear dresses now. Winter is going to be difficult..... because her latest thing is she only wants FLIP FLOPS with her dresses
She has become the best little bike rider. doing it in your Tangled Halloween costume makes you even better in case you were wondering.
Sweet Bubbie. His first day of Kindergarten. The transition has been MUCH easier than I ever could have imagined. Other than being really tired at the end of the day all is perfect. He is very happy, and LOVES to play with his friends. He just got his first report card, and did well. Kind of crazy that I have a kiddo old enough to get a report card. wow.
My kids with all their cousins and Grammy.

Corbin has started flag football. He has learned a lot, and each game gets better. Some of the kids on his team have football down. They are awesome, Corbin is learning, and having fun.

Cousin love

This morning we went on a really long bike ride to the park. The kids had fun, and it wore them out for naps. I think we are approaching no training wheel days. i think.
Doesn't get much cuter than this.

Today Corbin got the special GOLDEN ball at his football game. We were proud, and he was beyond happy. The smile is still on his face.

How did this happen....

How did my sweet baby boy grow up so fast. How is tomorrow his first day of kindergarten? It just seems like yesterday he was drinking bottles and snuggling up with his pacifier and dog dog. I am so excited for him, because I know he is going to thrive and love school. It just makes me realize how fast our babies grow up. I try hard to cherish every single second with our babies, but for crying out loud can time just slow down a little? I wish so badly I could take him to school tomorrow. That is the one stinky part of being a teacher, you can't miss the first day of school. Chris will do well and give me minute by minute updates. Chris cried the first time he left Corby at preschool, Corbin cried harder. I hope there are no tears tomorrow, just happy smiles. I sure do love my sweet baby boy. No matter how big he gets, how many candles are on his birthday cake, he will always be my baby boy.

The amount of love I have for this boy is immeasurable. He makes me so happy, and fills my life with such joy. I love my sweet Corbin and hope he has the best first day of Kindergarten, and a super awesome year.

Hi there

I haven't been a good blogger this summer. No time I guess. We have really had the BEST summer. I really have not wasted one day with these kiddos. Each and every day we have had a lot of fun, and enjoyed being together. Going back to work is going to be really hard on all of us. We have been very schedule free and loved it. We have gone to 9pm movies at the theater, we have stayed in jammies until noon some days. The kids have been able to do TONS of fun stuff this summer. Last summer was hard since Caroline was so small. Now she just goes along with the group, and keeps up WELL!
The kids had their first sleep over. They had three friends spend the night. They had a lot of fun, and all I can say is by the morning most kids were in our bed.
Morning snuggles while drinking chocolate milk and watching a show- this is our routine :)!
Play doh fun. Caroline refuses to sit in chairs, she prefers to sit ON tables. whatever.
This picture makes me laugh. I took this while Chris was mowing. This is how he mows under the trampoline.
This is her party trick shaking face.
Playing babies- all with paci's.

A lot of time has been spent at the beach- by far my kids favorite place to be. They are so happy there, as am I. They play hard all day, and really have gotten to be good little fishermen. Corbin caught a "keeper" while out on the boat. He was SO proud. He told me tonight while being put to bed that he wants to keep his next keeper in the freezer then put it on his wall. Little does he know how expensive that would be. I am going to buy him a poster at the beach this week with all the saltwater fish on it, so that he can mark off all the ones he catches!
* One more week of summer, to say I will miss being home with my babies is the understatement on the century. I love every second of being with them. They are the best. How did we get so lucky?

What we do aroud here...

First.. Happy 7th Wedding anniversary to this special guy tomorrow~ I love him, he loves me.. we make a pretty great parenting team... We have a good thing going, and I couldn't be happier with how our fairytale is playing out. I love you Chris! Here is to many more happy/crazy/wonderful years together.
I have said it before, I love the summer. I love being the one to get my kids dressed, feed them all their meals, play with them, and watch them grow. I love to be on the go, and with people and luckily my kids do too. We have each day planned with friends and fun. By the end of the day we are all pretty worn out. I am usually up at 6:30 because no matter what I CANNOT sleep late! So, I get up and drink my coffee in peace and one by one my troops come in. By 715 they are usually awake...
We had a major arts and craft day, the kids LOVED it. It was a flipping mess, but totally worth it.
Caroline and her boyfriend Maddux- I am telling you they are CONSTANTLY kissing and hugging- that is his paci in her mouth....
Our princess wore this special swim cap to swim while her staples were in. They are out now, and she is all healed up!
Caroline thinks the shrimp at the beach that we fish with are great. She laughs and laughs at them.

My girl can fish...
and so can my boy...
Our babysitter Regina came to hang .... they LOVE her.
All the kiddos made a giant slide with the couch cushions, they do this almost daily. Cheap entertainment.
This is a fort they built using EVERY pillow in my house. No lie. It was huge. Caroline thought it was the coolest thing ever. This week Debra helped me clean out closets, thank you times a million. It is so nice being able to go in the kids rooms and actually be able to close their drawers. Happy 4th of July to everyone!

Not as good of a week.

Let's start with the good points. Father's day was great, we got to see and celebrate both of our dads! Chris also had a great day, and we made sure to let him know just how special and great he is. We went to a lot of museum's this week. The Children's Museum downtown twice, the Museum of Science, and we met our friends at the Children's museum in The Woodlands too! We also did a lot of swimming and had a lot of play dates! Busy and fun just like I like it. Here is where is gets crazy... Chris hurt his back a few years back moving a tv, Friday it flared up and he was in the ER getting a pain and steroid shot, tomorrow he visits the back doctor to see what is going on. So, that was ER visit number two for our family since Caroline had the fire ant incident a week ago... Then we get to yesterday afternoon. Claire, Caroline and I were on the couch all together. Claire was sitting talking to us, fell backwards and hit her head on the coffee table. Then tons of blood, then ER visit number three. Seriously. Chris was at work. I called to say I was on the way to the ER with Claire. He was at a job about an hour away, so he really couldn't help. When we got there they had to dig through her unbrushed hair, the sunscreen from that morning, and finally got to the cut. She said three staples, I said ummm did you mean stitches? She said no, staples... I said ummm seriously?? Long story short, they only had to do two staples, it was super fast. She was SO brave. I just kept telling her over and over as I was holding her down that I loved her and she could pick ANY toy at Target. We went to Target last night, and kept her on Motrin. Today she has complained a little bit, but not too much at all. She likes laying on her frozen corn ice pack.
Caroline loved the chicks at the Children's Museum.
My sweet big kids.
Sophie's third birthday at the museum. We love sweet cousin Soph!
I could kiss this face all day long, and I do.
Touching the snake at Jack's super cool party at the Science Museum.
Love!
The kids had some of their besties over for a play date. They love these kids, and play with them almost daily! They play so well, and NEVER get sick of each other. We have to PRY them away after hours and hours of playing. This day they did a fashion show with their pillow pets, they got dressed up too! It was ADORABLE!
Claire and her best bud Channing. Or who she calls Chan Chan. They love like sisters, and fight like sisters too. Adorable.

Here are the two staples in my babies head. Thank God she is all fixed up. I love my brave girl. I hope for an uneventful rest of the summer as far as injuries go.
