6 years ago today...

6 years ago today I went with my mom to get my nails done for our wedding. Today I took our first baby girl to get her first mani and pedi, and to get my nails done for our special anniversary date tomorrow night. Amazing how in 6 years so many things have changed. All I can say is that I love you at least 300 times more than this day 6 years ago. With each beautiful baby we have brought into this world my love for you have grown at least 100%. Thank you for always being there for me and the kids. We love you more and more each day. It takes a pretty special man to be a great husband and dad. You are special. I love you. Happy Anniversary.
Corbin went out in the rain today and caught himself a worm! He used my spatula this you can see in the background. so really when it was all said and done he caught like half a worm.. poor worm.

My sweet baby girl is officially a crawler. I just cannot believe how fast she is growing, and how many things she is doing. These were her favorite toys today, Corby's Toy Story 3 Aliens... She loves to be on the floor playing as long as someone is with her. She clears the room in a few minutes by rolling or scooting.
I love these sweet faces. I LOVE THEM. Claire was just precious at the nail place today. She was so happy, and she loved picking her color. Pink on her toes with flowers & blue fingers. She is pretty proud of her nails. She will definitely be going back with me every time I go. It will be our special thing. In a few years it will be me and both my girls.. A trip to the nail place just got way more expensive.. worth every penny though.
When We got hoem Corbin wanted to know where I was going to take him. He wanted a special time too. I said wherever you want to go I will take you. We will be going to CiCis pizza tomorrow. He doesn't like it for the food, but for the games. We spend more on the quarter machine stuff than we do to feed our whole family. We have a million things from their quarter machines, and looks like we will be adding to our collection tomorrow.

HIJACK!!!

One of the coolest days and memorable experiences of my life. We have been through a lot in 6 years...12 years total...and all I can say is I am a lucky man. You are a great mother, wife, and best friend. I love you.

The pukes, soccer & the giant slide...

Thank you Kelly for this cute pic and many others! I love it!!! Today we had a super fun day here at the Barrow house. I rented the most fun water slide/jumpy thing ever. The kids had all their friends over & we had a blast. The kids were outside at 7:30 AM and Chris and the kids were still going down it at 7:30 tonight! They were super tired tonight... Good news is the guy I rented from let me keep it for free until tomorrow since it thundered some today... Repeat day of fun tomorrow. LOVE SUMMER.
Thank you Missy for these cute pics of my boy! Corbin started soccer this summer. It is not really a team, more of practices. He was not a fan the first week, but has grown to love it. Chris takes him, and it is just something fun for them to do.

Doesn't he look like he should be in the World Cup based on this picture..
Ah, this was not a fun day. Saturday the big kids had the puke virus. To day it was a long, gross, sick filled day would be an understatement. The week before the girls had that gross fever virus, so I feel like we have had our share of them for awhile. This puke one was BAD. Corbin was sooooo sick that he just laid on the floor with his puke bowl all day. I even called in the reinforcements(Debra) to come help Chris and I until we had it all under control. Chris was the puke cleaner upper/house disinfecting Clorox man. Debra and I handled the rest. Thank you times a million Debra! Glad to say Sunday AM the kids laid low, but were back to normal.
This water slide was a blast!

You fall into this HUGE pool of water which makes it even more fun!

My sweet baby cakes is almost 6 months old! She was such a good girl today with all the chaos that was going on. She just hung out and watched the kids have fun!
** Special birthday shout out to my one and only sister! Happy Birthday!
*** Corbin was so tired tonight when I was putting him to sleep & he DID NOT Want to give in and go to sleep. He was so mad because I was telling him that when I went walking tonight I saw a turtle crossing the road & i picked it up and moved it to the grass to save it from getting hit. He was LIVID that I did not bring the turtle home. He told me he didn't like me, and that I made him sad... I was thinking to myself that I have a freaking huge slide in my backyard & invited almost every kid he knows over today... Ah well... I know he really does love me... Not gonna lie, it did hurt my feelings a bit. I told Chris, and he said he said the same to him tonight.. made me feel a little better!

Fish friends!

These are Corbin's beach friends that he took everywhere with him this weekend. The crabs were dead and washed up on the beach. He collected them and bagged them up. The fish was his VERY favorite. He went to the marina down the street with Chris, and this little fish was belly up in the shrimp tank. The guy that works at the marina let Corby have all the dead fish. Corbin carried it all around until it was pretty much liquefied. So gross. That night he took them to the beach and fed them to the seagulls. No worries we did the same thing the next day, but in addition had a bunch of dead shrimp and a squid. What smells worse than a baggie full of dead shrimp? Not much.
The ice cream truck came down the street, and the kiddos picked out special Popsicle. They melted all over them in about 2 seconds. They ate them on the golf cart ride to the marina.... I sat between them while Chris drove, and I was covered in Popsicle from them.
Corbin looking in the shrimp tanks for fish.
Kiddos covered in Popsicle... Claire joined in the dead fish collecting the last day we were there. She took it a step further though and held them.
Brave little girl.. She wanted her fish in a cup rather than a bag, so they would be more accessible.

fun and fevers...

Here are some pictures from earlier last week. I already have a lot more, but am a bit behind! We had an eventful week last week. One day I took all three kids to the movies... we went to a jump house, went to a play place, and the splash park.. later in the week Claire came down with a mean little virus that lasted 2 days.. Caroline got it yesterday and is hopefully almost over it. This pool pic was from the first time Caroline went swimming. She loved it!
Caroline and Poof... Caroline wore this adorable outfit, and will be sporting it often. I love my girls in tutu's and ridiculously huge bows.. nothing better
pool girl!
Nana bought this super fast drying nail polish. Claire LOVED it, and we decided Caroline needed some too. It is so funny that I am about as not girly as you can be... I hate dressing up, purses, accessories, shopping.. all that stuff, but It is rare to see my girls not girled out to the max!
Sophie's birthday party was last weekend! Kids had a great time!
Caroline started some more foods this week. It was entertaining to watch her. She likes apples the best so far.. not a fan of carrots. Can you blame her? If you were wondering if eating solids is making her a better sleeper.. the answer is NOT A CHANCE!
Loves to play... as long as you are in eyesight! Spoiled much? I wouldn't have it any other waY!
Claire loves to color... on paper, furniture, herself... but she made us this great picture and told us she wanted to put it on the fridge with all the other millions of pictures. I heard her open the fridge, and she put it in a drawer... sad thing is that this was like Wednesday or Thursday of last week and it is still in there.
Everyone is getting boxes for Christmas this year. They played in this box all morning!
All in all it was an eventful week. We had a fun Fathers Day weekend at the beach, and topped it off tonight with a trip to the movies to see Toy Story 3. We took all three kiddos, I thought Caroline would snooze since she is under the weather.. not so much. Movie was precious! Corbin got an A. Claire a D and Caroline a D... at least no one failed! (that is the grade Chris gave the kids based on behavior)...** On a side note.. even though he already knows, I wanted you all to know... that my kids are blessed to have such a great daddy. He lets them know each and everyday that they are all very special to him. that they each hold a piece to his heart that when put all together makes him complete. Nothing quite like seeing the man you love be so in love with the children you love. Talk about the best feeling and making your heart melt. Thank you Chris for being such a good daddy to your Big Man, your Princess, and your Itty Bitty.
** be on the lookout for the fish post that will be coming soon!

Week one of summer... wonderful!

This week was filled to the brim with fun! We kept ourselves very busy! Everyday we did something fun together. I really enjoyed soaking in all the smiles and laughs! Little princess Caroline... Love this baby!
We have this great water park in our neighborhood that we went to a few times this week. This was a huge hit, and I now have another fun place to take the kiddos!
Claireb loved the water park too!
What a fun thing to do on a such a hot day... Don't think I wasn't close to running through there with them... too many people though.
PawPaw gave Claire a lemon... this is what happened.
One day this week I took the kids to the mall play land with a friend and her kids. There is this bungee guy stationed right outside of the play land that the kids were very interested in. I never in a million years would have thought the kids would do this or enjoy it.... They proved me wrong.. TWICE this week. I was by myself with the kids the first time they did this... I really wanted Chris to see them do this, so Chris, Nana, and Paw Paw came ti watch the second time they did it.
All ready to go... You would be shocked at how high they go
Princess has NO FEAR. NONE..
I myself would never do this... can't believe I let my 2 year old..
We played at the park a few times this week too.
Everything has become a competition between these two.
We have played with friends everyday this week which has been a lot of fun.. but when it is just the two of them, they really are sweet (most of the time)
Loving on sissy.
ADORABLE... All in all it was a great week. I just love summer. I already have more fun pictures that I need to post. We have some very busy little ones.
