Fish friends!

These are Corbin's beach friends that he took everywhere with him this weekend. The crabs were dead and washed up on the beach. He collected them and bagged them up. The fish was his VERY favorite. He went to the marina down the street with Chris, and this little fish was belly up in the shrimp tank. The guy that works at the marina let Corby have all the dead fish. Corbin carried it all around until it was pretty much liquefied. So gross. That night he took them to the beach and fed them to the seagulls. No worries we did the same thing the next day, but in addition had a bunch of dead shrimp and a squid. What smells worse than a baggie full of dead shrimp? Not much.
The ice cream truck came down the street, and the kiddos picked out special Popsicle. They melted all over them in about 2 seconds. They ate them on the golf cart ride to the marina.... I sat between them while Chris drove, and I was covered in Popsicle from them.
Corbin looking in the shrimp tanks for fish.
Kiddos covered in Popsicle... Claire joined in the dead fish collecting the last day we were there. She took it a step further though and held them.
Brave little girl.. She wanted her fish in a cup rather than a bag, so they would be more accessible.

I hope that satisfied their curiosities because June will not be carrying around dead fish next weekend! So gross Sara, I bet their little hands reaked and got dead sea creature stank all over the house!!
