kids VS babysitter

Chris and I went to a wedding Saturday night and Aunt Celine was our babysitter. She stepped up to the challenge, and we are so thankful she did. It was 4 kids (our three and Sophie) against Celine. She took some pictures throughout the night on our camera. They are pretty funny. Lets just say that when we got home all Corbin and Claire talked about was how much chocolate milk they drank, how much candy they ate, and that they loved playing the game where Claire, Corbin and Soph would run around and push each other down! They had a great time!!! Thanks Aunt Celine. We owe you one, or two.. or three...
Sophie and Claire fed Caroline brownies...
Caroline loved them.
They ate fun dip...
and more...
and more...
Yes, looks like Caroline ate the sugary goodness too.
All four of them going to town on some blue sugar! Look how Caroline is digging deep in her bowl!
All I can say is when you are outnumbered, which I am daily, you do whatever you can to make everyone happy and keep the peace. I am all about doing what works!

BEAUTIFUL days...

It was beautiful weekend and we took full advantage. Friday after school we started with a bike ride and swim lessons. Saturday we went for another bike ride, a birthday party, trampoline time, baseball practice and a play date. Then today we went to my moms for Corbin's haircut, the park, bike riding. then lunch at Clays to play outside and feed the animals. More t-ball fun and another play date. We were busy, but we had fun! We stay pretty busy around here, but the kids like having things to do, I like seeing them have fun. At the end of the day Chris and I are ten times more tired than the kids.. not sure why... I guess we are getting old.
Corbin finished his two weeks of everyday swim lessons Friday. He LOVED it. We are going to keep having lessons once a week, and hope to have a full swimmer by this summer. I plan on spending a lot of time at the pool and beach this summer, so knowing how to swim will be super great.
My beautiful girls. Nothing like having a sister. They fight like sisters, but love like sisters too. They are both so full of personality. They are perfect, they keep us on our toes, and make us laugh. I love these silly girls.
I still can't believe she is three.
I really can't believe my baby is one. She is so darn sweet. Bossy as all get out too. She loves to get in the mix with the bigger kids, and she can hang like a big kid. She is on the go at all times. She plays VERY hard. She has the best belly laugh, and the cutest teeth.
Playing in the sand at Clays. We met some friends there, and the kids had a great time.
Caroline loves her daddy, and he loves her times a million.
Regina and Russell met us at Clays today, their granddaughters came too and the kids had a blast. Regina is who keeps Caroline, and has kept all three of our kids since they were babies until they moved on to pre school. She also keeps Caroline's boyfriend Maddux who was there with his family too. We all had a great time. Caroline loves Regina, but LOVES Russell. It is pretty adorable.
My dad, Pa, went with us to pick out some special t-ball equipment for Corbin today. Corbin LOVED picking stuff out, and has carried his new bat around all day. Corbin got this snazzy new Tee. He has practiced a lot on it today, and has really had fun with it. Thanks Dad!
Claire has been practicing too. She is pretty darn good. Her eyes might even be closed in this picture, didn't matter. She smacked it. ALL STAR!

Like I said we had a busy fun filled weekend. By the end, my itty bitty baby was worn out. She got a little pink from the sun. I have a hat packed for her to wear at soccer tomorrow. She is soooo fair, and until she gets more hair I am going to have to make sure to keep her covered.

Busy Week...

The kids really enjoyed Valentine's Day! It was busy with soccer and swimming practice, but they still had fun! Caroline was sick on Valentine's day with a fever and double ear infection so I stayed home with her. For the first time in 7 years of teaching I wasn't at school with all the junior high kids, over sized bears, carnations and candy. Can't say I missed it. Caroline is much better, and almost back to her perky little self :)
This girl never stops. This is her at Corbin's t-ball practice. Corbin is now doing t-ball and soccer. The girls have fun at his practices, because they both have playgrounds. We spend a lot of time outside, and have a lot of fun. All I can say is when our heads hit the pillow at night, it is lights out.
Corbin LOVED his chocolate fish he got for Valentine's Day. He ate it in two days.
She loves this grocery cart. If only she could really do the grocery shopping.
The kids liked their Valentines from their friends at school. Their school does a really great job of making all the holidays really fun and special.
Saturday we went to Grace's first birthday party. It was a really nice day outside, and the kids had a blast. They played outside most of the day and were asleep by 7.
I just think these dresses might be the cutest things ever.
Tonight Corbin's tube fell out of his ear. Corbin has had 2 sets of tubes and so has Claire. We have had a total of 8 of these little things. This is only the second one we have ever found. After Corbin's bath tonight I saw this in his ear, it is super small.. He thinks it is super cool. He is asleep right now with it on his night stand(actually our night stand, didn't want anyone to get all silly on me and think they actually sleep in their own beds now :)). Not sure why he thinks it is so cool, but he does. I am glad he likes it because it cost us a PRETTY PENNY... Not only the first set, but the second set too.... Hopefully his little ears have matured enough that they don't need these tubes, and we will be ear infection free...
*** Special Shout out to Grammy and Nana, glad you both are feeling better :) We love you both :)

I.LOVE.WEEKENDS!!!

We had a great weekend. Friday we celebrated my two sister in laws birthdays, and had a blast. Here is a picture of my three babies all lined up in a row watching a movie in our bed drinking chocolate milk bottles... you are only a kid once.. don't judge!
Even the remote is a phone :)
Today we went to the zoo with the Frazier family. It was a beautiful day. The kids had a great time as always!
The kids got to touch a snake- they thought it was great.. Even Caroline touched it.
The kiddos all lined up- all but baby Grace.
Corbin had his first t-ball practice this weekend. Not much cuter than a 4 year old in baseball pants.
Hope everyone has a great Valentines Day! Spread the LOVE!

A few reasons why my kids have the best dad...

He is fun. Chris is the first to jump up and play with the kids, and do whatever it is they want him to do. From jumping on the trampoline, to being a Star Wars guy, to wrestling, to playing baby dolls. He is also the one who rinses out the sheets, couch cushions, or whtever else gets thrown up on. TMI, but it's true. He gets them ready for school each day, and often gives in to donut shop stop requests. He emails me the second he gets to work to let me knwo how the kids drop off was at school, and to say he loves me. He Loves me and the kids so much, and we love him just as much back.
We are so lucky!
I love this boy!!!

Only because she is a PRINCESS!!!

Today I took half a day off of work to celebrate my big girls birthday is style! I told her we could do whatever she wanted for her big three birthday! She planned the day out, and it was a jam packed fun one! First thing this morning she opened her presents from us, and loved them. Then I went to work until ten while she had a fun morning with Grammy, Corbin and Caroline.

Our first stop was Plaster Fun House. Grammy stayed with Caroline while I took the big kiddos. They each painted something and LOVED IT!
Next she wanted to get a manicure and pedicure. PRINCESS ! She picked out her colors, got flowers painted and even a few little diamonds. Corbin just watched, but he did decide to get one little diamond on his finger.
Next she wanted McDonalds. We sang Happy Birthday with candles in her nuggets.
Next we went to Target to spend a gift card she got for her birthday! We then went to brave the winds at Corbin's soccer practice. That wasn't on her list, but it was something we had to do.
Our last stop was Chick Fil A. She wanted to go there and play in the play area. The Mullers came with us. and the kids had a GREAT TIME! We sand Happy Birthday and ate cake AGAIN. It was left over from her party yesterday, but she couldn't have cared less. She had a great day! It was a lot of fun, a lot of cash, but worth every second. You only turn three once.
Yesterday we celebrated her birthday at Pump it Up with her friends. She had a great time, and loved playing with all of her friends. I have a million pictures that I will post, but here are a few cute ones.
Chris and the girls. Caroline LOVES the slides, no fear at all.
I could not love these kids more.
Me trying to holf Claire up to her birthday shout out sign.
A few of the kiddos.
Claire and her 2 grandmothers and 2 great grandmothers.
Corbin and Simon. They have the best time together. They are pretty precious.
Her cake was really good, SAMS does a good job!
LOving on her sister. I guess that is what I will call it... Maybe torturing???
Claire had a great birthday, it was fun making it special for her. Corbin has reminded me five million times today that his birthday is coming up and that he is waiting patiently... I will get working on his soon enough!
