Fun Day!

Caroline and Shelby! My sister in law has brought my two nieces out the last two days to play and visit. I have really enjoyed getting to see them all play!

Corbin in his usual sleeping attire! This child has more jammies than any child should have, yet he prefers his b-day suit! He tells us his clothes are "sweating" him and he takes them off, and sleeps in his undies with his dog dog!
Today while my mom was here ( thank God for my awesome mom by the way!!!) I decided to have a little game time with the big kids while Grammy watched Caroline. I broke out Candyland... Hmmm the kids were MADDDDDDD if they picked any card with just colors, they only wanted the special ones with the candy people. At one point Claire was sitting on the board, and Corbin was shuffling through the cards looking for the good ones!

My little transformer! We had a really good week! Today I got to take a much needed nap and feel so much better.

My friend Missy who is a photographer and has her own company www.snappedwithlove.com came over and took Caroline's newborn pictures. They turned out super precious, and Caroline was SO good during them! These are a few of my favorites! She is just a super specail precious baby girl!

One week old!

Today at 6:30 pm Caroline will be one week old! I cannot believe that this week has gone by so fast! She is still the sweetest, smallest most precious little bitty thing in the world. She had a doctor's appointment this morning, and she still only weighs 5 pounds. I am bound and determined to get some meat on those little bones before her next weigh in on Tuesday. She NEVER has cried to eat, I have to basically force her to eat in her sleep every few hours. If she had it her way she would just sleep the day away... which she kind of does.....
I love this picture... Corbin is super proud of his armband he got at school last week. he won't take it off, he has Chris dry it with a blow dryer every night after his bath.. He was showing it off to baby Caroline. He calls it his watch. He just loves her so much!
Claire was hanging out with Caroline on the couch. She loves to be right where Caroline is. She insists on feeding her. Every time I change her diaper she asks me about her umbilical cord...
My brother and soon to be sister in law came over last night!

Caroline

This morning we were up and moving at 2AM.... I decided we would do a little photo shoot... She was WIDE awake!

Thankful...

We are home and all is well with the Barrow 5! I cannot begin to tell you how thankful I am for my beautiful family. Corbin and Claire LOVE their new baby sister. They love (fight over) feeding her and holding her. Corbin is very gentle with her, and Claire is learning to be. Caroline is SUCH a good baby! She eats, sleeps, poops, and sleeps some more. She rarely cries, and when she does it is a sweet sound. I am so thankful for our friends and family who have been so sweet to us. Thank you to everyone who has come to visit, who has brought us gifts for Caroline, and to those who have brought us dinner. It has been so very nice!

Caroline Louise is here!

We are so proud to introduce baby Caroline! She is just precious, and we are so very happy she is here and healthy! She is itty bitty! Well, to us she is since Corbin weighed 9'4 and Claire 8'10. Caroline made her entrance on January 5th at 6:30 PM. She weighed 5 lbs 7 ounces and 19.5 inches long. She came 2 weeks early much to our surprise! Here is her little delivery story! Tuesday I had a scheduled appointment at 1:15. I went in and told my doctor I had a few concerns. I told him that I felt like she wasn't moving much and that I thought I was leaking fluid. They did an ultrasound, and her little cord was around her neck, she wasn't moving much and her fluid wsa low.... So over to the hospital I went, and a few hours later my sweet baby Caroline was here. My C-Section went super well, I feel really well. I am just so thankful for my doctor who brought my sweet daughter into this world saftely! We are very blessed with this sweet girl! Corbin and Claire love her already! I will post more pictures soon!

Chris set of fireworks at Jimmy and Natalie's house. June, Corbin and Claire really liked them. Corbin wasn't that thrilled about them at first, but now he askes if we have anymore.
This picture just makes me laugh out loud. If you look really carefully you will see why. The kids are playing dress up. Corbin and Claire have on earrings, princess shoes and accessories! Corbin put his earrings on at the top of his ears. She will play transformers and blocks with him, and he will play princess with her... whatever makes them happy!
