Our family Christmas...

We had a very wonderful Christmas 2010. Caroline really had a very merry first Christmas, and the big kids were just beyond happy and excited. We had a jam packed Christmas Eve and Christmas Day. We went to Church at 4 On Christmas Eve with The Barrow Family, then went to The Barrow's house to celebrate PawPaw's birthday and Christmas.
Nana & Sweet C. Caroline did really well, but by the end of the night she was just tuckered out.
So many people LOVE this baby so very much.
Princess was so excited! She helped pass out the presents. Before dinner Nana let her open one present. It was the dress she is wearing in this pic, She took her Christmas dress off and sported her new dress. GIRLY.
Anytime you asked CB what she wanted for Christmas, she always said a baby doll. She was so happy to get a new baby to add to her 17 other ones. Who's counting?
Carolina got her first baby too. It has successfully been taken by CB.
A lot of fun. It was a little LOUD at times due to the excitement of Corbs and Claire.
This sweet bundle of cuteness was bursting with energy and happiness.
When you asked Corbin what he wanted he always would say"A ORANGE FOX PILLOW PET"... He was so excited!
Chris and I will be getting a new Sister in Law. Brian proposed to Mary last night. It was super sweet and adorable, and we are really excited for them!
This is a little out of order.. this one was at our hosue this morning when Carolina saw her ball pit.
The kiddos helping Paw Paw blow out his birthday candles! It was a very fun night. The kids were so wound up, and so excited about all their gifts! When we left it was late, and we thought for sure the kiddos would fall asleep. Instead they stayed awake to put out milk and cookies. They finally went to sleep after 11. We stayed up getting ready for Christmas morning...
Here we are bright and early this morning. The first thing Corbin wanted to do is to see if Santa drank his milk he left. It was adorable. He checked the cup Claire left, and the one he left.
Here is one of the gifts Chris got for me. I love it. It is very special.

Corbin with his new (SUPER LOUD AND OBNOXIOUS) gun.
Our sweet baby on her very first Christmas. All three wore these same Baby's First Christmas pajamas on their first Christmas. I will keep them forever and ever.
Claire on her new stylish princess bike.
Caroline got a whole little pet shop of those loud squeaky, barky, yappy, little animals you buy at the mall kiosk. She thinks they are great.
Tearing them open!
Could they look any more alike? Christmas Morning was very fun, the kids loved all their gifts Santa brought them. They are also very excited about the trampoline that Chris and I got them! I am pretty pumped about it too. After Christmas morning at home, the fun continued at my parents house for Christmas with my side of the family!
Here is my niece sweet June. In this picture the kids were all dancing to music on the new CD player Claire got. June ate the most ridiculous amount of cookies today. I caught her many times licking the icing on the cookies then nicely putting them back. Twice she was also licking the cranberry sauce. Good thing we are all family.
Me and my boy.
Uncle Brian and Mary got this coat and dress for CB for Christmas. She looked so sweet.
Creative Aunt Brittany made these for all the cousins. So cute!
Sophie was stylin. Celine bought these matching coats with matching shoes for all the nieces. SO adorable.
Beautiful.
Grammy and her special boy.
Joseph and Brittany with the babies. When they have kids they will be pros.
Sweet Shelby and Caroline. They will both be one in the next 2 weeks. Shelby was really taking steps today. So sweet.

My mom's house looked so pretty.
All the kids had a great time. We had a very wonderful two days with our families. We are very lucky to live close to both sides of the family so that we are able to celebrate the holidays with everyone. The kids are so worn out that they have been asleep since 7. Chris and I have been trying to organize all their new awesome things, so that when they wake up they can play with it all. The next few days will be fun watching them play with it all. Chris is starting the assembly of the trampoline. It has been busy, but fun.

Meet Goldie, Mermaid & baby Jesus

Today I took the kids to Petsmart to get our doggies Christmas presents... somehow we ended up with these two new swimmers. Meet Goldie and Mermaid.
Tuesday night I took the big kids to the most precious Christmas play at Second Baptist Church. It is a free Christmas play they put on each year, and they do it well! Claire wanted to go back last night, so there we were again two night in a row at the Christmas play. It was ADORABLE! She CRIED both night when we had to leave because she really wanted to see baby Jesus more. The only way I convinced her to leave without throwing a fit was to tell her when we got home we would wrap up Caroline like baby Jesus and play with her. It worked, and Caroline was willing to play. I am kind of surprised they haven't asked to go back tonight for the last night of the play. I was prepared to have a threepeat.

Nana came over yesterday morning to make Christmas cookies with the kids. They loved it, and I know Santa will too. Then Claire and I went to get our nails done thanks to Nana. They made Claire's extra cute this time. She has little snowflake stars on her fingers and toes. So cute. The kids are very excited about Christmas. They have talked to Santa on the phone twice today. Sorry to the Santas we called really early this AM and woke up, we were in need of a stern talk because both the big kids were making their way to the naughty list. All is good now. We hoep everyone has a very Merry Christmas! Enjoy your family and friends!

We have the sickies.. and other fun stuff too

Friday was the kids school Christmas program. They put on a super cute program and lunch for the kids. Claire's was first- she was adorable singing jingle bells. She didn't want to sit on Santa's lap, but did give him a high -five to make up for it... then....
Then it was Corbin's classes turn to see Santa. He waited in line super patiently and was so excited to see him. Claire was in my arms while we were watching Corbin and she decided to throw a HUGE fit. Hitting, screaming,,, AWFUL! As soon as Chris got there I handed her over and said take her outside. It was embarrassing that my kid was the one pitching a fit while a million parents and grandparents were there to watch their kid.
Next was Corbin's play where he was SANTA! It was ADORABLE!!!
That night we took cousin pictures, and then had Natalie's annual Christmas ornament cousins party. It was super fun as always. Here is Shelby!
I almost forgot.. to add to the fun that day Claire accidentally slammed Caroline's pointer finger in the door. I was in Caroline's room getting her clothes when I heard a SCREAM! Her finger swelled really big and turned purple. I called Chris at work, and told him I thought it was broken. Luckily the swelling went down by the next day, and it wasn't broken. Alwaya fun around here.
Here are the adorable Christmas ornaments in the making...
Caroline and Shelby's first Christmas ornaments. They both have their first birthdays in the next 2 weeks.
Playing with the cousins...
Then the sickness began. Caroline started throwing up in the middle of the night after we got home from Natalie's. She did this all night and managed to throw up in three beds. Awesome. Then yesterday everyone seemed fine. Today I woke up super sick. I RARELY get sick. The kids are sick a lot, Chris occasionally, but me never. I had to call Chris home from work, because I couldn't manage these three feeling so bad. I stayed in bed until 3:45. Thank God he came home to help me because right around the time I managed to pull myself out of bed Claire began the throw ups. Poor baby is just laying on the couch watching Mickey Mouse with her throw up bucket. So all the girls in the house have now had it, let's hope the boys steer clear. Only time will tell, but I am hopeful! I don't need any more sickies.

*** Princess Claire Loves coffee, we don't offer it to her but she manages to drink it. Chris got her a vanilla steamer at Starbucks, and she thought she was awesome with her own drink. It is just milk and vanilla... She has been known to drink straight out of our cups, it is the craziest thing that a 2 year old likes the taste of coffee. We haven't quite figured her out :)

Christmas Break and the Dentist

After tomorrow I will get to be home with the kids for a little over two weeks. I can't wait! We have some fun things planned, but more than anything we are just going to hang out and do whatever our little minds think of... Caroline is maybe, just maybe about to sprout her first tooth...Still not walking, but is getting a little temper. Holy cow! Chris and I just laugh during her little fits. She projects her voice, arches her back and grunts. Pretty funny!
Corbin went to the dentist for the first time today! He did very well, I was very pleased! She said his little teeth looked great. He asked for a copy of his X-Rays, so he could take them to show and tell. He has them, and is so proud of them. Corbin is Santa in his school Christmas play tomorrow, I cannot wait! He has been practicing... He also got his mid- year review at school. He is doing well in everything!
Little Princess Claire. She is loving school, and is excited to sing Jingle Bells in her school play. She has been looking ridiculously adorable in her Christmas gear this week. She did very well on her school review as well. Her teachers just love her, she is a pretty easy kiddo to love. She is the sweetest, yet feistiest two year old I know. Some might call her moods bratty at times, I like to think of her as very strong willed. (Maybe she gets it from her Mom?!?!?!)
Santa??
The kids get little sayings that they like to say over and over... This week it is " You are not my best friend, and you are not invited to my birthday party!) I cannot tell you how many times Chris and I have heard this in the last few days. They also say it to each other which always results in someone crying. I wonder how they plan on getting to their parties if we aren't invited, and paying for it at that! The best part is that their parties are not even planned yet since they are months away. Gotta love what kids say!
