Week in Pictures!

  1. We have had a busy week here at the Barrow house. The week started off not so great. Last weekend Chris's dad, PawPaw, had to go to the hospital. He is now MUCH better and we are very thankful! We are very glad he is feeling better. Corby and Claire have had colds this week. I am sure the weather changing every 5 seconds can't help much. Other than that all is well! Today Soph came over for a little visit. We went to the park and she did her usual. Falling asleep in the swing. Isn't she precious with all that Elvis hair!

Claire looking precious as usual
Claire is wondering how Soph sticks her tongue out like that. What a cool trick!
Soph is 5 months younger than Claire and has more teeth than her!
My cousin Emily made this hat for Claire when she was born! Pretty cute!!!
Last Night Claire and Corbin were plaing a game with Chris where he would pretend to be asleep then suddenly wake up... It's the small things that make the kids the happiest!
Grammy bought Corby not just one chocolate cup cake but like 12. He is slowly but surely eating them all. Don't bother asking if you can have one. He will instantly tell you NO! I asked if he could share with Claire. He said NO, SHE IS TOO LITTLE, SHE HAS NO TEETH!
My friend Kara came to visit this week!
Even though it was cold the kids were tired of being inside. We bundled them up and let them play!

Corby and Claire

We have had a fun week. It was my first week back at work and I still don't think I have fully recovered. It was so nice the 2 weeks I had off being able to sleep in with the kids and not rush out the door in the morning. Anyone who knows Corby knows his love for DogDog and Paci. Claire has become very attached to her silky blankie. She doesn't like a paci but she loves her some silky. Corby rubs DogDog's tail on his nose and Claireb bites blankie.
This morning Corbin was eating his pancakes and banana. Claire was just checking out Peanut under the table. Peanut is a smart little dog. He knows the prime spots to wait for food to drop. Peanut has chinked up lately.. that is beacuse half of what Claire eats ends up on the floor.
Maw-Maw got this super cute birthday hat for Claire a few months ago. We decided since her big girl first birthday is so soon we would practice wearing her hat!
Corby LOVES to feed Claire. LOVES, Loves, loves it. He especially likes feeding her avocado. Here he is getting it all ready for her then feeding her. He actually fed her all of her dinner. She listened better to him than she does to us!
Later today we are going to Maddy's birthday party! Corbin is really excited!!! We will post some pics of the fun!

June, Claire and Sophie

Here is a picture of Claire with her two precious cousins June and Sophie! In 16 years or so I think we will all have our hands full with these three. I can already see them getting into trouble together!!!

Hanging with the C's (Cooper, Caleb, Corbin and Claire)

We got to play with our favorite twins yesterday! The kids had a really great time. We went to the park, played with toys and in the backyard... Here are a few pics from the night. All in all it was a really fun night. Chris and I got to catch up with Jennifer and Matt which is always fun! I think the kids really played hard and exhausted each other b/c according to the Seely report they slept great and our bunch did too!

Playing in the backyard today...

Since it was so nice outside today the kids decided to take over the backyard. Claire was sporting her leopard best and pearls. They both wanted to play in this boat. We have had this boat for basically their entire lives and they NEVER really show interest in it. Today was a different story as you will see.. Here they are playing pretty nicely..
Here they are playing on the slide. Claire is so brave. She has no fear at all. She goes head first down all slides.. no problem. She just pushed her pearls to the side and down she went.
Here Corbin decided he should get a turn in the boat. He took it upon himself to get Claire out.
And there she lands. What a nice brother! Pretty soon she will be picking him up and putting him where she wants him. I tell you what, she is a strong little DIVA! When he got her out of the boat she thought it was a new game. So she kept going back for more..
Pretty little leopard girl. She was picking up all the whipper snappers that she was finding on the ground from new Years Eve!

Corby Turns anything and everything into a gun. Not sure where he learned this from. Maybe all little boys do this, that is what I am going to keep telling myself. In this pic he is using a used sparkler as a gun and saying "POW POW"!

Nana birthday pics

Corby and I went to the store to buy stuff to make Nana's birthday cakes. He was insistent on getting stuff to make a pink cake. Nana wanted a vanilla cake so Corby make pink cupcakes for himself. He LOVES to cook! Here he is eating two cupcakes! He was proud of how well they turned out! Good work Chef Corbs!
We had a great time celebrating Nana's birthday.
